| Signature of the New Joint Declaration on PSE, 18 April 2012 |
On 18 April 2012 was signed in the PSE working group a "New Joint Declaration on Postal Sector Evolution". During this ceremony intervened several high-level representatives including Jean-Paul Tricart from DG Employment, Werner Stengg from DG Market, Jean-Paul Forceville and Botond Szebeny from PostEurop as well as Oliver Roethig and Stephen de Matteo from UNI. For more information This Declaration which builds on the 2007 Joint Declaration and the Social Observatory aims to formalise a common assessement of the situation. It sets key principles to accompany change: better anticipate evolutions, recognize that management of change can benefit from co-operation between social partners, develop the employees' employability and encourage investment in the sector.
